Grades K–3

Acting, dancing, and exploring the world of theatre! Spend an exciting week playing theatre games, learning Broadway dances, and acting out plays and stories. Each day includes traditional activities and swimming.

Grades K–3

Do you like to do a little bit of everything? Then our traditional camp is for you. Make friends, swim, create arts & crafts, play sports, and sing camp songs. Best of all, have fun while creating great summer memories!

Grades K–6

You have been selected to participate on the Mad Science All-Star Team! Learn about famous scientists and inventors who were all-stars in their field of expertise. Follow in their footsteps as we equip you with the science skills needed to rise to the top. Together with your teammates you will build super structures, create a volcanic eruption and examine rocks formed from volcanic magma. Soar high above as you build a kite and glider and experiment with lift, aerodynamics and air pressure. Discover the secret behind the stars and make a star chart. Take home projects include: magnetic soccer game, rocket racer, star locator, kite, animal track, crystal garden and more!

Grades K–6

Head Coach Todd Cooper and the rest of our Tiger Gymnastics staff lead a fun and challenging camp for the beginner to advanced gymnast. Campers progress from forward/backward rolls, handstands, and cartwheels to more advanced skills such as continuous backhand spring, Salto, Aerial, and Glide Kip. Each day includes traditional activities and swimming.

Grades 1–4

Learn cheerleading from the best! Develop balance, strength, personal spirit, and self-confidence. This is a great way to help campers prepare for their school's cheerleading tryouts. Each day includes traditional activities and swimming.

Grades 1–6

Campers will learn one-on-one offensive moves; correct passing techniques, defensive positioning, ball handling and shooting. Every day we will also play games and have contests for prizes. Camp will be hosted by Shannon Holmes, Boys' Freshman Basketball Coach at Cathedral Catholic High School and Alex Caceres, Head Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach at San Diego Jewish Academy.

Grades 1–6

Turn a simple lump of clay into a work of art! This promises to be a very creative and fun-filled week of hand building in clay. Campers use slabs, coils, pinch pots, and a multitude of glazing options while creating animals, tea sets, vases, sea life, and other imaginative projects. Art projects include drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. All activities are age appropriate and encourage individual expression. Taught by Avril Butbul, who has over 20 years experience of teaching art to children. Each day includes traditional activities and swimming.

Grades 2–6

Whip up a culinary delight in no time! Learn basic cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and create a recipe book to share your culinary knowledge with your family. Taught in the JCC's Brau Catering Kitchen, campers enjoy an authentic kitchen experience. Campers learn the chef's secret recipe when they visit the kitchen of a local restaurant. Each day includes traditional activities and swimming.

Grades 3–7

All aspects of horsemanship and sportsmanship are taught in the fun and safe environment at Rockin L&D Ranch. Everyone rides every day! Includes special guest speakers, arts & crafts, equine care, and more. On the last day of camp, campers participate in a horse show and mounted drill team demonstration (intermediate riders). Each day includes traditional activities and swimming.

Grades 3–6

Become a Mad Science secret spy and take a fascinating journey into the world of detection, forensics and classified information. Learn code language to send secret messages as part of your mission. Go undercover and decode messages from other agents using your top secret clearance. Investigate a pretend crime scene and sift through clues to crack the case. Join the Mad Science Bureau of Investigation and sniff out forgeries and counterfeits. Follow Sherlock’s footsteps to learn what tracks and trails can teach us. Take home projects include a detective kit, secret decoder, fingerprint kit, spy glasses and more!

Grades 4–12

Looking for the ultimate summer golf experience? Join one of the premiere golf camps in San Diego. The JCC’s post-specialty Golf Camp features three hours of instruction on the range each morning and a full round in the afternoon; all at a different golf course each day! All students have their swing evaluated at the beginning of the week to compare to their swing at the end of the session. The week ends with a scramble tournament and camp awards. Open to beginning to advanced golfers. Snacks and transportation provided; just bring your clubs and wear appropriate golf course attire (collared shirts/shorts).
