Grades 4–6
ONE 2-WEEK SESSION: June 23 – July 6 (12-day camp)Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience the best of both day and resident camps. The first week of this two-week session will be spent at camp JCC doing all the traditional day camp activities such as sports, art, swimming and a field trip. The second week provides your camper with his/her first overnight camping experience. Camp Mountain Chai, located in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains, is the perfect setting. Special accommodations, staff and creative programs meet the needs of first-time or experienced campers. Pick-up and drop-off by bus at the JCC.

Grades 4–7
ONE 2-WEEK SESSION: July 21–August 1
Learn web-building skills through easy-to-use instructions and hands-on experience. Campers learn the basics of HTML programming using a generic text editor, then move on to time-saving authoring tools. Projects include creating their own personal pages that will be made live on the web. Campers participate in traditional activities, arts & crafts, music, and swimming.

Grades 4–7
ONE 2-WEEK SESSION: July 7 – 18
For the family shutterbug! Discover digital design techniques and basic photography skills. Learn how to edit and manipulate images using graphics software. Projects advance from inserting photos into emails to creating albums. Campers participate in traditional activities, swimming, and a field trip to Balboa Park.
Campers are responsible for their own cameras – the JCC has a limited number to share.

Grades 11–12
ONE 4-DAY SESSION: August 11–14 (4 Hours, 4–8 pm)
Calling all Juniors! Prepare for the college application process with two college counselors, one a former AP English teacher, one a reader for UC College Admissions, both with Master’s Degrees and Certificates in College Counseling. Students will create an organized college box to gather all information in one place using a “best fit” philosophy; students will research and narrow a target list of colleges within their personal reach, range and “really sure” categories; prepare a college calendar with all important dates and deadlines for Senior Year; develop a personal activities resume for a more detailed application and for teacher and counselor letters of recommendation; complete the UC, CSU, and Common Applications on paper for easy transfer to the online applications in the fall; brainstorm, draft and write personal statements, short answer and other essays for individual applications.

Grades 4–7
ONE 2-WEEK SESSION: August 4–15
Camp Jaycee and the San Diego Jewish Film Festival are offering a summer film camp for aspiring filmmakers to take on the roles of real film production crew. You will learn film structure, camera handling and editing, working together to create a short film. Nurture the Steven Spielberg in your child along with swimming, art and music. This camp promises to be exciting!
