What is your preschooler doing this summer? How about sending him/her to a place where every day provides a new adventure? Each week at Camp Keshet, your preschooler participates in a theme-based set of activities where the focus is fun. Swimming, art, music, sports, drama, science, nature, and play are all a part of your preschooler’s day. Our experienced and dedicated staff provides a multi-sensory program in our state-of-the-art facilities. Your child’s curiosity and imagination thrive in a loving and safe environment. Part and full-time programs are available for children between the ages of 18 months through four years. Enrichment classes and field trips are included for four-year-old children participating in the five full day program.

According to recent studies, bilingual children have increased self-esteem, improved understanding and acceptance of other cultures, and improved ability in learning English. Join this successful cutting edge language immersion program, where preschoolers enjoy all the adventurous Camp Keshet activitiesonly speaking and hearing in Spanish, Russian, or Chinese!. Designed for pre–kindergartners with little or no foreign language knowledge.

This program promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in a nurturing and safe environment. Two, three and five day options are available. This parent participation program is designed for parents to help their two year olds transition to attending preschool. Classes meet from 9:00 to noon for three hours of sensory enriched activities. Parents participate alongside their children, encouraging involvement in art projects, circle and music times, and outside play. During the eight weeks, watch your child develop independence and confidence as they turn more to the teacher for direction and feedback.

If you are looking for a way to share special time with your toddler and a way for your child to interact with other children his or her age, Tot ‘N Company provides an exciting early preschool experience for children 17– 23 months old Join your child in experiencing music, art, rhythm, movement, sensory motor activities, Shabbat Circle, and explorative play facilitated by an early childhood education specialist. In Camp Gesher, your child enjoys a variety of summer activities as he/she develops existing skills and acquires new ones. On the first day of camp, Gesher campers choose their own chugim (electives) based on their personal interests and grades. Weekly themes and field trips provide a framework for this spirited camp. On Fridays, Gesher enjoys storytime in the Astor Judaica Library. Each session campers enjoy a late night activity that includes sports, games, dinner, and a movie. Energetic counselors lead each grade unit in this traditional well-rounded camp.

¿Habla Español? If you want your child to receive intensive instruction in Spanish, our four-week Spanish Immersion program is an exciting way to incorporate language studies into your child's summer schedule. In this program, your child will learn Spanish while participating in all of Camp Jaycee's traditional programs (swimming, games, music, arts, and sports).

By parent request, we are continuing our newest foreign language immersion class, Mandarin Chinese, this summer for grades K–3. The program will use a multi-sensory approach including language, arts, sports and games, songs, and stories taught exclusively in Chinese. Campers will also enjoy all the fun and enriching Camp Gesher activities. Space is limited to maximize language development.

If your pre-teen has many and varied interests, Camp Hevra is the place to be! Hevra campers participate in a wide range of activities, including swimming, science, crafts, drama, and music. During the first week, campers enjoy traditional camp activities and a San Diego day-trip. Campers focus on a specific theme during the second week. In addition, each two-week session includes a late-night or sleepover at the JCC. Don't miss this fulfilling and unforgettable experience!

Session 1:
Mad Science Jr. Detective Mad Science and NASA have teamed up to bring you the excitement and wonder of space. This is your chance to be a rocket scientist! Explore the science involved in rocket construction as you build and launch your own rocket. Explore the farthest reaches of our solar system and create a lunar eclipse in our Mad Science planetary tour. This stellar camp is your ticket to the stars as you journey through the galaxy. Take home projects include Skyblazer II Rocket, Shuttle Copter, Lightning Launcher, Kelpers Cube and more!
Session 2:
SeaWorld Campers will travel below the surface, above the waves! While being up-close and hands-on, campers will learn about sharks, polar animals, whales and California coastal animals. Identify adaptations different species have for their environment while learning how penguins stay cool in warm weather. Campers will observe animal behaviors and training techniques.
Session 3:
Sea Camp San Diego Located right next to La Jolla, makes it ideal to discover the ocean and shore. This session is highlighted by Sea Camp San Diego Snorkeling & Marine Lab and includes visits to tide pools and Stephen Birch Aquarium.
Session 4:
AIR & Space Museum We will travel to the Air & Space Museum, Balboa Park and explore aviation history through fun hands-on activities. Campers will build and fly kites, hot air balloons, paper airplanes, and bottle rockets! Discover the Museum, while participating in fun activities
