Basketball

Thursday Women’s Basketball League

Thursdays, 7:00-10:00pm,

Season 1 begins April 3
Captain’s meeting on March 27, 6:30pm

Season 2 begins July 10
Captain's meeting on July 3, 6:30pm

Open to members and non-members of the JCC. This league accepts both teams and individuals. Individuals are required to attend an evaluation before the season begins and spots are limited.

Men’s 21+ Basketball League

Draft on May 12; Games begin May 19


Open to members and non-members of the JCC. Ideal for individual players looking for a competitive basketball experience. Open to teams and individuals. Teams are selected by a draft each season.

Men’s 40+ Member Basketball League

Thursdays, 6:00–10:00pm


Session 1 Draft begins May 1, Games begin May 8

Men’s basketball league for members of the JCC and non-members interested in trying the league before joining the JCC. Non-members may only participate in one season. Teams are selected by a draft each season.

Adult Tennis Lessons

Self Defense

Krav Maga

• Session 1: May 18-July 10
• Session 2: July 20-September 10
Students choose two classes each week
(or three with instructor permission):
• Sundays, 9:00am
• Wednesdays, 6:00pm or 7:00pm
• Thursdays, 7:00pm

Krav Maga is the Israel Defense Forces system of self-defense. Students are taught by certified American Instructors who were trained by the International Krav Maga Federation in Israel. In the first 8-week session, students will learn a variety of techniques in a fun, physical setting covering self-defense, awareness, fighting skills, rape prevention, multiple attackers, weapons, etc. and incorporating strength training, coordination drills and scenario training. Our program is considered the best Krav Maga location in the USA. Courses continue at more advanced levels.

Note: Some degree of physical fitness is required.
