JABA was created with the intention of changing the world of young Jewish adults in San Diego. At JABA we want to create an environment that promotes social activity and enthusiasm among young Jewish adults in San Diego, ultimately establishing a strong new network of Jewish friends.
JABA has created events that will be epic, memorable, and out of this world. JABA is not for the weak, feeble, or frail. JABA is for those who are excited to get out there and experience all that San Diego night life (and some daytime activities) has to offer and meet some great new friends in the process.

JABA PRESENTS: Opening Ceremonies at the 2008 JCC Maccabi Games
Join JABA as we attend one of the greatest events ever to hit the San Diego Jewish Community: The 2008 JCC Maccabi Games Opening Ceremonies.
On Sunday Night August 3rd 2008 at 7pm the JCC Maccabi Games Opening Ceremonies will take place at Cox Arena. We will all sit together as a group as we enjoy some of Nations most established entertainers.
Please arrive at 6:30pm and meet outside the main gate. The event and parking are FREE.
JABA wants you to come support your San Diego community and witness one of the greatest spectacles ever to hit San Diego.
*For security purposes all Opening Ceremony attendees must have credentials. Make sure to sign up at www.sdmaccabi.org.
JABA Presents: A Day at the Races: The Del Mar Racetrack
Sunday, August 17, 2008 1:15pm-6:15pm
$20/person for JABA Members ($40/person for Non-JABA Members)
Join JABA as we journey to the Del Mar Racetrack for A Day at the Races. JABA has received access to the sophisticated Il Palio restaurant as a venue for the Races.
The Il Palio is a luxurious air-conditioned Tuscan restaurant with shaded patios, cooled by ocean breezes, and offers picturesque views from the sixth floor and the dressy elegance of the famed Del Mar Turf Club. Our group reservation in the Il Palio Restaurant includes reserved tables and Turf Club privileges.
Dress Code
We have the privilege of access to the elite Del Mar Turf Club. However, the dress code is strictly enforced. Please remember to adhere to the dress code.
WOMEN Suits or daytime dresses are preferred. Slacks may be worn with tailored jackets.
Please no jeans, denim, shorts, T-shirts, athletic shoes or abbreviated attire.
MEN Suit and tie or sport jacket must be worn at all times. A sport shirt with a jacket may be worn, provided that the shirt is buttoned to the top button below the collar. Please no turtleneck or polo style shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, short-sleeved jackets, windbreakers, jeans or denim pants, shorts or athletic shoes.
Transportation
Will be provided from the JCC. The Bus will leave the JCC at 1:15pm and return back to the JCC around 6:15pm. (Please arrive at the JCC at 1pm)
This event does not include food and/or drink provided by JABA.
