Lap lanes are available during operating hours. Please refer to the pool schedule for lane availability. This pool is kept at 81 degrees. Swim diapers and plastic pants are required for all swimmers who are under the age of 4 years. No diving or jumping off the blocks unless supervised by a JCC swim instructor or coach. Diving boards are open during the summer months only. Outdoor Spa is for members 5 years and older, children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and the Children’s Pool is for the use of parents and children 5 years and under. Children who are not potty-trained must wear swim diapers, plastic pants and a bathing suit. An adult must supervise children, who are under the age of 15, at all times.

JCC Masters Swimming Program (Ages 18+)

For those interested in improving their stroke technique, endurance training and overall fitness, a structured workout with a group is vital. This adult swim program includes in-depth stroke analysis and personal coaching. These workouts will challenge your mind and body. All levels of swimmers are welcome; you must be 18 years of age or older.

Private Swim Lessons for Adults
Private lessons are a great way to learn to swim or improve your skills. Whether you are looking to improve your technique, build your endurance, improve your efficiency in any stroke, or prepare for a race, our instructors can help you reach your swimming goals. Lessons are 30 minutes in length. Lessons are to be scheduled with the Aquatics Department.

Swim Lessons for Children
Group Swim Lessons
All instructors are trained through the American Red Cross Water safety Instructor Program. Throughout the course of the Learn to swim program, students will not only learn how to swim, but they will also learn water safety, such as “swim with a buddy” and “don’t just pack it wear your jacket”.
Lessons will be for two weeks, Monday through Thursday for 25 min. Students will receive eight 25 minute lessons.

Private Swim Lessons
Private lessons are an outstanding way to further your child’s swimming ability at his/her own pace. A private lesson allows for individual attention through one-on-one instruction. Instructors will design the lesson to fit your swimmer’s needs and learning style. Please sign up at least two weeks before you want the first private lesson to begin. Students will receive eight 25 minute lessons.

Barracuda Novice Swim Team
The Barracuda swim team is a year-round swimming program for ages 6-12. This swim team is for pre-competitive swimmers who want to learn all four competition strokes, dives, starts, and turns. There are three developmental levels: Bronze (Introductory), Silver (Intermediate) & Gold (Advanced). All swimmers must be evaluated before beginning the team. Each swimmer will be placed based on prior skills learned. The main emphasis of our team is learning can be fun!

Rock n Roll Luau

Rock n Roll meets the Hawaiian tropics! Families will enjoy fun themed games such as Guitar Races, a Dolphin Ring Toss, and a Crazy Dive contest. Who needs to go all the way to Hawaii when you can have a Rock n’ Rock summer right in your back yard. Bring your lei’s and cool sunglasses, this is sure to be a fun day for all.
Jungle Carnival Annual Membership BBQ

ABC Safe Summer Day

It is an unfortunate fact that California leads the nation in swimming pool injuries and deaths. For this reason the American Red Cross is teaming up with pools around the nation to inform families on what they can do to stay safe in and around the pool. Children will have fun games to play by staff, while parents will have an informational session on water safety.
Family Swim Meet

Whether you have been swimming your whole life or just love being around the pool, this swim meet is designed for families of all ages. Events include timed swims, parent and child games, and fun races. There will be prizes for all and this will definitely be a day to remember! $5 entry fee for all participants.

Springboard Diving
Air Dive San Diego coach, Eric Paterson will teach this new aquatics diving program. This program is for a beginner diver all the way up to an elite diver. This new program is specifically detailed to the individual’s skill level and progression. This will be a great learning experience for the development of all ages.
