Shabbat Shira with Cara Freedman
Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Shul Please Join the Kids Congregation as we welcome Cara Freedman, once a month to lead us in song and prayer.  Music can be a powerful tool, for helping our children engage Shabbat, as well as the way music strengthens community.  Playing music can often express what words cannot, in a way that can only be described as magical.   Shabbat Shira is informal, participatory, and lots of fun.  Designed for families and children (K-4), this Saturday morning service features songs, prayers, and a story or teaching based on the weekly parasha by Rabbi Libman.
