BBYO San Diego

The Lawrence Family JCC is proud to be the home of BBYO for San Diego. BBYO is the world’s largest pluralistic Jewish youth movement and is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary of bringing Jewish teens together and forging lifelong friendships! BBYO offers the goods that school and other extracurricular activities don't always provide. We do this by giving teens the opportunity to stand up for things they believe in, lead initiatives, build confidence and character, make an impact, and form authentic relationships. These relationships and experiences are proven to benefit a young person long after high school ends. With a 100-year old tradition and over 400,000 alumni, BBYO involvement offers teens a way to connect to their heritage and something bigger than themselves.

San Diego BBYO Chapters

BBYO welcomes Jewish teens of all backgrounds, denominational affiliation, gender, race, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, including those with a range of intellectual, emotional, and physical abilities. With a network of hundreds of chapters across North America and in 70 countries around the world, we invite you to join the worldwide movement of over 70,000 Jewish teens.
