About Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, a paddle, and a plastic ball. Come Develop your Pickleball Skills with our Instructor Bryon 

Bryon, a 5.0+ DUPR-rated player and USA Pickleball Certified Instructor through Pickleball Coaching International (PCI), has been hooked on pickleball since his parents introduced him to the sport in 2015. Bryon has started the Pickleball Open Play program at the JCC, taught countless students, and organized and competed in dozens of tournaments in the San Diego area. He loves how pickleball fosters community, camaraderie, and provides a great workout. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate player aiming to improve, Bryon is here to help. Bryon provides balls and paddles (if needed) for any lesson just bring yourself and wear athletic clothing and shoes. He offers lessons for groups of 1-4 people. Lesson purchases can be made below or in person with guest services.
