About Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, a paddle, and a plastic ball. Come Develop your Pickleball Skills with our Instructor Bryon 

Bryon, a 5.0+ DUPR-rated player, was introduced to pickleball by his parents in 2015 and has been hooked ever since. He has been actively involved in the JCC pickleball community, starting and running the guided open-play sessions. Bryon has taught family and friends for many years, organized and run pickleball tournaments for the greater San Diego Pickleball Community, and participated in dozens of tournaments. He loves how pickleball fosters community, camaraderie, and a great workout, helping Bryon build a vast network of friends and connections in the San Diego area. Whether you're just starting or are an intermediate player looking to take your game to the next level, Bryon is here to help. Bryon provides balls and paddles (if needed) for any lesson just bring yourself and wear athletic clothing and shoes. He offers lessons for groups of 1-4 people. Lesson purchases can be made below or in person with guest services.
