Becca Myers

Becca is a multi-hyphenate theatre artist: producer, actor, singer, director, and educator who finds joy in everything theatre. Becca currently works as the Interim Associate Producer at The Old Globe Theatre, the Producing Director of the Lipinsky Family San Diego Jewish Arts Festival (JFest), and sits on the board of the Alliance for Jewish Theatre (AJT). Becca is also the founder and artistic lead for the annual new play festival, "The Whole Megillah", which offers a year of workshops and development opportunities to four new Jewish plays showcasing the breadth, depth, and diversity of the Jewish community. Having benefited greatly from exceptional theatre teachers, Becca is passing along the torch to the future generation of theatre artists as the Drama Teacher at Mt. Everest Academy, and as a Teaching Artist for various organizations. Becca received the Sandy Fisher Award for Excellence in the Creative Arts from Brandeis University, which is awarded for exceptional work in theatre, including behind-the-scenes support, activism, and onstage work, and recently graduated with honors from a Master's program at Harvard University. As an artist with intersectional identities, Becca strives to make theatre that embraces the complexity inherent to the American Jewish experience.
