Miri Ketayi

Miri Ketayi is the Director of Israel & Global Communities of the Jewish Federation of San Diego County. The Jewish Federation of San Diego County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money and investing in projects that strengthen the Jewish community, foster dynamic connections between San Diego and Israel, and care for Jews in need around the world. Prior to taking on this role, Miri served as the Director of Israel and International Education programs at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.

Born in Russia, Miri grew up in Israel and moved to Palm Desert, CA, where she served as the Director of Education at Temple Sinai, and a Principal of the Jewish Community Schoolof the Desert. Miri holds a BA in history from Tel Aviv University, an MA in Education from the American Jewish University, and an MA in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. 

Currently, Miri serves on the International Affairs Board for San Diego City, on the Board of Directors at the San Diego Diplomacy Council, a member of the Canyon Crest Academy (CCA) High School Site Council, and a CCA parentrepresentative on the Parent Curriculum Advisory Council for the San Dieguito School District.
