David Labkovski Project

Exhibiting for the first time in San Diego, the David Labkovski Project’s (DLP) unique education program, fusing history and art, is based on renowned Lithuanian artist, David Labkovski (1906-1991) whose work includes life before, during, and after the Holocaust. DLP shares its mission of teaching lessons of survival, tolerance, acceptance, and the importance of bearing witness to history using the body of artwork to educate and teach. The Program trains teenage students to lead docent tours of the art, thus educating a new generation about the causes and consequences of antisemitism and hatred through peer to peer education and workshops.

The David Labkovski Project (DLP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Los Angeles. was founded in 2016 by Leora Raikin, Lisa Lainer-Fagan, Connie Marco & Stephanie Wolfson.
