Fiddler On The Roof

The story centers on Tevye, a milkman in the village of Anatevka, who attempts to maintain his Jewish religious and cultural traditions. One by one, his three oldest daughters start to resist Jewish tradition all while outside influences encroach upon his family's lives.

On The Town

ON THE TOWN is JCompany's traveling performance group, comprised of talented young artists from all over San Diego County, who will sing and dance their way into your heart! These young artists not only serve as ambassadors of JCompany Youth Theatre at public appearances, but they also reach out to give positive entertainment to charitable organizations, underprivileged youth, the elderly, and others.
This talented ensemble brings their artistry to the greater community while learning to work together with respect, integrity, and professionalism, nurturing and encouraging each other personally as well as artistically.
Ages: 10 - 19

Interested in singing the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony for the 2022 Maccabi Games? Come audition!!

Raw: Mystery Flavor

Designed to introduce young artists to the fast pace of professional theatre, this dynamic readings series will keep you on your toes as we create engaging characters from scratch and put a full-length musical reading together in ONE WEEK! The cast doesn't know what they are auditioning for and the audience doesn't know what show they are seeing. It’s great fun for the whole family!

Remembrance Reading: We Are Witnesses
Written by Jacob Boas
"We Are Witnesses" is a play written by Holocaust survivor Jacob Boas who was born in the same camp to which Anne Frank was sent. The story revolves around 5 Jewish teenagers David, Yitzhak, Moshe, Eva, and Anne who all kept diaries and were all killed in Hitler's death camps. These are their stories, in their own words.

Hamlet
Written by William Shakespeare
The ghost of the King of Denmark tells his son, Hamlet, to avenge his murder by killing the new king, Hamlet's uncle. Hamlet feigns madness, contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge. His uncle, fearing for his life, also devises plots to kill Hamlet.

The Lion King Jr.

Simba, an adventurous and energetic lion cub, is next in line to be king when his father Mufasa is killed by his uncle Scar. Scar seizes power and creates darkness and desolation from which only Simba can save the animals of the kingdom.

Chicago tells the story of two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in Cook County Jail. Nightclub star, Velma, is serving time for killing her husband and sister. Roxie has been tossed in the joint for bumping off the lover she’s been cheating on her husband with. The two find themselves on death row together and fight for the fame that will keep them from the gallows in 1920s Chicago.
