Shalom Baby Infant Program
Philosophy & Goals
Infants thrive when they feel safe, loved, and connected. Our caring teachers build trusting relationships, honor each child’s unique rhythm and background, and partner with families to ensure a seamless bridge between home and school.
Curriculum
Learning grows from each child’s cues and stage of development, with rich experiences across:
-
Social-Emotional: Bonding, self-awareness, regulation
-
Cognitive: Curiosity, cause & effect, problem-solving
-
Language: Gestures, sounds, songs, naming
-
Physical: Rolling, crawling, grasping, cruising
-
Sensory: Safe, engaging play with touch, sight & sound
Daily Rhythm
Every infant follows their own schedule for eating, resting, and play. A typical day includes greetings and bonding, sensory play, outdoor time, stories, music, and warm family send-offs. Parents receive daily updates on routines and milestones.
Environment
Bright, soothing classrooms feature state-of-the-art cribs, safe textures, calming colors, and nurturing spaces for feeding, diapering, and play.
Jewish Values & Community
Infants experience belonging through weekly Shabbat and Havdalah, joyful holiday activities, and meaningful parent participation—connecting families to the wider Jewish community.
