Community Service Projects
Each month we will be advertising and promoting a community service project to embark on based on the consideration of the Teen Leadership Council. We will be collaborating with community service organizations, other Jewish Agencies and Youth groups to promote community engagement and build partnerships. This is a great way to get your community service hours for the month and learn more about the community we live in.
SENIOR BUDDIES (Grades 9-12)
Next Senior Buddies: Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 4-5pm at the LFJCC Samuel and Rebecca Astor Judaica Library.
The JCC Teen Leadership Council is teaming up with the Seniors Department to create a meaningful and enriching community service project. Teens meet with seniors to support our seniors in learning how to navigate technology. Help with iPhones, Facebook, and Word processing are just some of the ways our teens can connect and serve. Participants will gain community service hours while getting to know (and learn too!) from their elders.
All teens are welcomed to join in this great community service project!
